EFT Trials by Doctors and Psychologists
In the early days when I first become involved with EFT I realized that conventional medicine was miles behind in its thinking. As I have previously mentioned I found my way to EFT after discovering that the medical industry was not able to resolve my problems and more or less told me to live with it and sent me on my way.
Not long after being exposed to EFT and then walking down this path I also realized that many in the realms of conventional medicine were scoffing at this whole process. I had attempted to speak about EFT to a few individuals in associated sciences (fields within the medical industry) and the reception I got back wasn't inspiring. I actually likened it to the first flight of the airplane, there were many scientists around the globe even 5 years after those initial flights who said it could not be done, yet they had already done it, you cant say that manned flight could not be done as they are actually doing it.
Likewise the response I got back was that something as silly as EFT could not possibly work, yet I was walking proof, EFT solved issues for me that conventional medicine could not, so to have someone tell me it would not work was like talking to a brick wall. But that was way back in around 2005, and thankfully times have changed.
I didn't want this page to be a rant about the medical industry, far from it, in fact I am so pleased now to see that the tide has most definitely turned, and that's great for the many thousands of individuals around the globe who need help.
A part of me can certainly understand why psychologist's might have been skeptic for all those years, after all a psychologist could spend years of university study to discover that an EFT Practitioner can come along and help individuals overcome negative emotions in areas that conventional psychology only dreams of touching.
However that now seems to be in the past, as I started to notice a real shift in thinking some time maybe around 2011, I started to see and hear more from psychologists who were coming to EFT. In fact I have had a number of psychologists whom had come to see me looking for help to overcome some of their own personal traumas, which is great for them and great for EFT.
I actually did another course recently and on that course I guess that over 50% were practicing psychologists or those studying in this field. This is a real testimony to how far EFT has come, and more importantly: "the realization that Emotional Freedom Technique works, and is changing lives the world over"
So if your thinking that something as strange, silly and simple as EFT cannot work, then think again, there are now many many professional institutions around the globe that are now taking EFT by the horns.
